Its my final day at Storey Gallery. What an amazing space and fabulous organisation to have worked with. I will miss it terribly.
Who knows what the future holds, its exciting to think about the possibilities.
I have just noticed this is quite a grey looking post. How appropriate.
Found this design company on Kickan & Konkers today.

Going Freelance
At the end of this week I leave my fabulous job at Storey Gallery to begin an exciting, but terrifying, freelance career. The chairs from my last exhibition have left the building and my desk draws are empty.
I have been with Storey Gallery for six years now, and although it is intended that I will return occasionally on a freelance basis, it feels like the end of an era. I have a few plans up my sleeve, which I will reveal as an when its appropriate, but the next few weeks will involve a bit of down time and then lots and lots of meetings.
Whilst waiting for DVD's to burn I found these lovely things on Etsy, in the shop Udaskids. They have some amazing dungarees in this shop, shame Smallest is now too big for them all.
These are also fabulous.

Birthday camping with fellow looneys
We went away camping last weekend to celebrate my 33rd birthday. It usually marks the beginning of the camping season, and we are usually blessed with glorious weather. This year it was FREEZING, -4 I am told. What were we thinking?
Even at those temperatures we had a wonderful time, great fun and fabulous company.
Our friends have an amazing bell tent (above) which includes a wood burning stove. So toasty and masses of room. Rachel even made pancakes for breakfast on the top of the wood burner!!
We trailed this tent by Alpkit, we might need to test it again.

Lovely rainy Easter
We spent a lovely Easter weekend with our family. Smallest and I prepared by making Easter nest cakes... her first 'baking' experience... she loved it, probably because there was chocolate involved.
Instead of lots of eggs Smallest got this Molo rain coat to celebrate the wet season. It will also come in very handy when we go camping for my birthday this weekend. Thank you Nordic Kids.
